Start working at red robin tomorrow as a line cook (hot side) what is the best way to learn the menu?
the gm gave me a study guide and its so much stuff.. i know its not as much as other restaurants but i have only worked in the kitchen at fast food restaurants and i did really well at that.. anyways i do really well with hands on learning but i want to know some stuff before i go in there .. should i make flashcards with the list of what goes on what burgers? or should i just read over it and let them show me? i want to show some initiative and dont want them to think i never looked at the papers.. what do you think is the best way for me to learn some from the paperwork?
