Why do some married people spend so much time online?

I'm married, me and the wife have a computer, and laptops, but, they are turning into dust collectors! We rarely use it,maybe look up travel plans,weekend activities, etc... I think other people use it, because it's ( computer) like a drug and becomes habit forming. I think some people find it exciting, in knowing they may be involved in some chat, where the idenity is unknown to the people,and really have no clue who your talking with, and I believe people do this because of insecurities of themselves. They chat,flirt,probably some porn, and it's a dark secert they have, some type of secert fantasy, than you have the gamers, always trying to get to the next ranking, or next level. Really, computers is just a technology that, can be used by the general public,and some get hooked on it. Me and my wife,we sit outside on the balcony in the eveing, and talk for hours sometimes. She told me several times, she gets bored when were not together, we spend as much time together as possible, by doing things together!
