What happened in John Milton's book, Paradise Lost?

I'm a big fan of Hollywood Undead, My favorite member is Johnny 3 Tears, He has a fascination with John Milton's book. 2 of his songs are about it. I can't buy the book, I just want to know why J3T Is so inspired.
