Need help to fix spicy chili?

I wasn't feeling well, so my husband offered to cook dinner. He made some chili (I won't go into too much detail, lets just say it was a disaster), it's nothing but heat because he used WAY too much red pepper flakes, you really can't taste anything in it because of the heat. He made a lot of it, and I don't like wasting food, so I was hoping there was some way to save it and maybe tone down the heat? He's a sweet guy and he really meant well, but he can't really cook. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
