Is teaching young kids about why they shouldn't use guns good?
About a week ago, a little boy (between 4-6) got a hold of his dads handgun and shot and killed his 2-year old baby sister on front of his two older siblings. Although you can fine, punish and persecute the dad, the little boy (who actually did the killing) will not be at fault. So now the city is planning on providing education on guns to children in elementary schools. Many people think its a good idea, but others think that teaching kids not to use guns would only leave them to be more curious (kind of like teaching them not to smoke or drink... the "rebels" will want to use it more because they are told they're not supposed to). But.. what other options do we have?
